7am: gyeryong. motel.
i still get up sometimes, thinking that im in my own room in gp.
the room is hot, coz i turn off the ac, since i had my stomach aches in the middle of the nite. i really need to eat right. those spicy food is getting to me.let see for dinner, i had a pre-mad beef, with bread, and potato chips. yum. i miss my moms cooking. even the healthy meal that she made.
i got out and meet rory (my co teacher) outside, its friggin chilly. wteff!
its august! then i forgot were at the town in the middle of a mountain. nature everywhere. we lugged my baggage into her mini caravan. i shouldve packed light. and of course im stubborn enough to not listen and also unprepared to come here to korea.

there are times i have to stop myself thinking that im across the world-- because if i dont i feel like im going to break. i'm a little okay when i talk to my family. but somehow its never enough. sometimes i dont know if im making a mistake coming here. or its an experience that shall treasure forever. i have yet to find out.

gayagok middle school. outside nonsan city.

you know the saying, "pilipino time" well i think theres such thing as "korean time".. coz if they say theyll meet you at 7am, it really means 7.30am or 8.00am. i should already know that since pilipinos has the same belief, but thats not how you do that in america. so im not use to that at all. you have to be there on time! even minutes before the deadline.. somethings its gonna take alot of patience.

koreans also have a nack on changing their mind at last minute. that is really irritating at times, but im trying to learn that im in a different country, culture.. so i have to relearn everything. so as you can tell im in very much culture shock. a big one!

as soon as i got out of the caravan, i could tell that all eyes were on me. i never like attention at all. the building was actually pretty awesome. i was really expecting it to be kinda old. but it look like the building was a modernized. when i went inside, i have to put my shoes in a cabinet, so that the floors wont be dirty. soo now iam wearing slippers inside school... yes inside school. im thinking ill be teaching with slippers on?? whhattt, hheehh?? soo i just weent with it.

so went inside the faculty room, i met the teachers. offered me some food. corn and green tea. they were all hospitable, but they keep apologizing that theyre english is not that good and theyre kinda embarrassed. and i have to keep telling them that its okay, nothing to be embarrassed about.

then the students came in one by one. group by group. asking and telling me the same questions:
"hi!"
"whats your name?"
"are you my teacher?"
"what country are you from?"
"how old are you?"
"do you u have a boyfriend?"

and giggle at each questions...

its really cute though.. especially girls who came in groups.
boys just say HI and just look at you, like your some strange person. gee thanx.
like i said, some sort of exhibition of the zoo. and they fed the animal too.. hahaha

soo im suppose to stay here at 3pm to go to my apt.
it is currently 3.15pm. hmm korean time. so i should be heading like around 3.30 or 4pm. sighs

well at least i blogged and watched some kdramas. coz ness knows how much itll help me with my vocabulary skills.

p.s. so i remembered whenever i was in pinas, i have to do some chores like sweeping or cleaning the desk at the classroom... yeahh i just saw these kids mopping the floors..

damn no wonder its so spotless.
no wonder i have to walk around with sleepers on.

i hope my family and friends are sleeping well tonite.
I know God is taking good care of them always.
just need to trust.
i hope and pray that my lolo is going to be okay and hell be released from the hospital soon.
